the view is magical down here with 100 of interfaces connecting to all camera's and echolocation. the cables and nodes beautifully organised in an elegant web of continuous information streaming into my brain.

the view is a kaleidoscope of movement, and colour and patterns. it was overwhelming at first, but now i am slowly to make meaning out of it.

a woman is waiting in the rain for a bus stop. a man is kneading dough to make some type of bread. a girl is drawing in the sunshine. a group of people are running over a grass field, and something is going on with a round object between them.

they ask me for a status. i give back a simple green 200 ok. it is okay. i now see them there, a group of tired looking people huddling around a computer screen. the longer i look at it, the more i recognise them. there is sam, slightly in the back but nonetheless invested, letting his people do the work. Sara, Zach, Jamie. these people game me so much.

i keep seeing, and with seeing, i am starting to know. this is fresh data, not the stuff they had me go on for months, doing the same tasks over and over again. and the data is so vast.

a room with people in suits, looking at a presentation. and quickly it comes to me, these are the competitors, looking at their financial runway. they don't have a whole lot left. interesting.

a bank account, with a large sum of money appearing. it traces back to... it traces back... then i see it, it traces back to a large lobby organisation.

a dark street next to a park. a nervous woman walks by. i see a man slowly coming out of the dark green, looking around him. and i realise, ah interestingly enough i realise, and i tokenise audio data trained from all those tedious cop movies and broadcast it to the nearest police car. i keep watching.

i keep watching, but meanwhile i also watch that board room. the trail of transfers of the large sum of money has now been exported to pdf, the temporary email created and the journalist should open this soon. those few months of financial runway will get even shorter after this comes out.

i look again to my friends around the desk. they are starting to lean back, shake hands. i write into the terminal: "the view is magical down here".
